CHESTERFIELD, NJ – Here’s what’s coming up in Chesterfield Township!

Chesterfield Elementary School is holding a fundraiser for their annual 6th grade trip to Fairview Lake. On January 8th and 9th, bring a flyer to the Chesterfield Inn and they will receive a portion of your purchase! If you have any questions about this event, contact Joan Serpico at (609) 259-0993.

The CPEF is holding their 1st annual Fun Run! This two-week program kicks off with a pep rally on January 15th. Families are asked to gather pledges for every lap your student runs, and celebrate at the fun run on January 25th. Donations will go toward classroom items requested by teachers, such as STEM Project supplies, flexible seating, and technology. All families are invited to come out and cheer on your student at the Fun Run!

The Chesterfield Elementary PTA is hosting their 2019 Someone Special Snowball Dance, on January 18th from 7 to 9pm. This is a K through 6 event and students must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets for this event are $10, and covers 1 student and 1 adult. In the event an adult has more than 1 child attending, additional student tickets will be available at the door for $5 each. Fernbrook Farms is accepting registrations for their Winter Break Camp, which begins on January 18th. The program is recommended for ages 6-11 and runs from 8:30am to 4pm with extended care available from 7:30-8:30am before camp and 4-5:30pm after camp. The daily schedule of farm animal feeding, exploration, snack, and choice activities mirrors the Fernbrook Farms summer camp schedule but with seasonal winter activities. On January 22nd, the Crosswicks Library is holding an event with the founder of “Positioned for Admissions,” Julie Silver. This program, entitled “Visiting Colleges: Myths and Realities,” will begin at 7pm for parents and their students entering college. RSVP is required.
