Here’s what’s coming up in Chesterfield Township and the surrounding area!

The Chesterfield Board of Education will be holding meetings on March 11th and March 18th, starting promptly at 7pm in the Chesterfield Elementary School’s library.

Over in Bordentown, there will be a Veteran career fair starting at 12pm on March 22nd, at the Bordentown Armory. Soldiers, veterans, and their dependents are invited to meet and network with veteran-friendly employers, service providers, and government agencies at no cost. Guests are encouraged to bring their resumes to be reviewed by professionals and a financial counselor will be on-site. Interviews and on-the-spot interviews will also take place. A free lunch will be provided courtesy of the United Services Organization of PA and NJ.

Cub Scouts, start your engines: the Pinewood Derby is quickly approaching! Visit the Chesterfield Elementary School on March 23rd for Cub Scout Pack 55’s annual event! Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners per each den, and awards including best paint job, funniest car, coolest car, and den leader’s choice!

The CPEF will also be holding their Spring clothing drive all day on March 23rd. Put your items inside the truck located in the school parking lot. Items eligible for collection include Clothing of all sizes, all seasons, even sports gear, Purses/belts, Household linens (sheets, towels, tablecloths), Gently worn shoes, Strollers, Bicycles, Stuffed animals. If you would like a donation letter for taxes, please take the form available in the truck at drop off.

The Chesterfield PTA will be holding a Popcorn and PJ Bingo on March 29th from 7 to 9pm. Students in Grades K-6, along with their parents, are invited to join us for a night of BINGO fun! All students are required to bring a $5 prize in order to be admitted into BINGO. Each child will win 1 BINGO game, and will choose a prize to go home with! Popcorn and Water will be provided FREE OF CHARGE!

On Saturday, April 7th, Chesterfield Township is hosting 2 recycling information sessions with instructors from the County Recycling Center. The sessions are at 9:30am and 11am at the Chesterfield Municipal Building and will coincide with an electronics recycling drive where residents can drop off their approved items.

And finally, The CTAA will be hosting their first annual golf outing in June and registration is now open! They anticipate the 72 available spots will fill quickly, so register today! To register and for more information, visit golfouting.ctaasports.org.
