TRENTON, NJ – Earlier this week the Trenton Thunder announced at a press conference of their affiliation with Copa de la Diversion. Thunder General Manager Jeff Hurley, proudly presented the rebranding of the team to El Trueno de Trenton, for 3 days in June to celebrate Hispanic heritage within the team and the city of Trenton.

Members of the community, as well as staff and their mascot Boomer, gathered at the Boys & Girls Club of Mercer County to celebrate, thanks to their sponsor of the night, Aetna. Children who participated in the event were given free Trenton Trueno T-shirts, raffle tickets for prizes and bicycles, Aetna swag, and a party to remember.
