Matthew Litt Takes Oath of Office for Chesterfield Board of Education

CHESTERFIELD, NJ – At Wednesday’s Chesterfield Board of Education Work Session, local resident and author Matthew Litt took the Oath of Office to officially join the Board. Litt was chosen on January 23rd by a unanimous vote to fill the vacancy on the Board following former Board President Shah’s resignation.

During his interview, Litt said he thinks the role of the BOE is to “use every resource at the board’s disposal for the benefit of the students.” Litt is the Vice-President of the Bordentown PAC and is a local T-Ball coach. He is also an author and has recently read excerpts from his book at the Crosswicks Library and the Chesterfield Twp Historical Society.

The next Chesterfield Board of Education Meeting is on February 20th at 7pm. WBNC News will be there.
