CHESTERFIELD, NJ – Chesterfield Township will fund baseline water testing on homes within a quarter mile of the compressor station on Route 528 in Chesterfield. The Township Committee passed a resolution at Thursday’s meeting awarding a contract to Burlington, NJ consulting and contracting firm EnviroTrac.

The testing will encompass 10 houses, pending homeowner approval, and the process will cost $4,660.

The Committee also expressed interested in expanding the use of the Rec building on Fenton Lane, renaming it the Fenton Lane Community & Recreation Building.
