MOUNT HOLLY, NJ – Several outlets in the Tri-State area and now as north as New York have been reporting with confidence regarding former Committeeman Sam Davis’ “unfounded claims” of illegal voting activity. The fact is: we haven’t heard anything official come out of the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office regarding this matter. The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that they spoke with Burlington County Freeholder Balvir Singh, who says the investigation was halted due to “lack of merit”, but when NJ.com emailed them, a spokesman said, “[they] cannot discuss the potential existence of an investigation into election results.”

WBNC News has a pending OPRA request to which the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office must responding to by Monday, February 11th.

Chesterfield Deputy Mayor Denise Koetas-Dale tells me the Township Committee has a “special meeting on this issue” scheduled for February 12th at 7pm. WBNC News will be there.

Unfortunately, when outlets that have never heard of Chesterfield before now report on us, they tend to butcher the names that make up the story.

If only the coverage could have expanded this quickly when Chesterfield Twp residents were fighting for fair school funding.
