Suspect Identified in Hamilton Wawa Theft

HAMILTON, NJ – On Monday, the Hamilton Police Division identified a suspect in the theft of Special Olympics donations at a Hamilton Wawa earlier this month. Complaints were filed for theft against 46-year-old Lawrence resident Ruth O. Archila.

The following is a press release from Hamilton Township Police.

On January 4, 2019, Hamilton Police were detailed to the WaWa located at 3800 Quakerbridge Road on a theft of money from a donation jar. Responding officers were advised by the store manager, an unknown female utilized a plastic utensil to “fish” out an undisclosed amount of cash from the Special Olympics donation jar that was placed at the front sales counter.

The suspect is described as a 40 year old white or Hispanic female, approximately 5’3” inches tall, with dark black hair. She was last seen wearing a striped shirt and overcoat with a dark colored scarf.

Hamilton Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the above suspect involved in this theft.
