Update: Patient Missing from Trenton Psychiatric Hospital in Custody

TRENTON, NJ – The individual who escaped from the Trenton Psychiatric Hospital has been taken into custody. The Ewing Police Department thanks the community for their cooperation and vigilance during this situation.

The Ewing Police Department has announced a patient has escaped from the Trenton Psychiatric Hospital. Kevin Ennals, age 32, was last seen jumping a fence at the Hospital on Sullivan Way near the Trenton Country Club. He has been aggressive towards hospital staff and Human Service Police Officers while a patient. He was not allowed to leave the property.

Ennals is described as a 32-year-old black male, 5’11” approx. 195 lbs. with dreadlocks last seen wear Black pants and a Red Hooded Sweatshirt. Male is possibly wearing a Black coat over the Red Hooded Sweatshirt. If you see him, do not approach. Call 911 right away.

According to their website, “Trenton Psychiatric Hospital is a 400-bed psychiatric hospital serving a designated New Jersey population. We are a Joint Commission accredited health care facility, one of four psychiatric hospitals governed by the State of New Jersey, Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services.”
