CROSSWICKS, NJ – Here’s what’s coming up in Chesterfield Township!

On December 1st, Fernbrook Farms is hosting a Wreath Making Event from 1 to 4pm. Learn how to make a wreath with Farmer Q. After the demonstration, you will enjoy a wagon ride to clip an assortment of pines and hollies for your wreath. This event costs $40, light refreshments will be provided and attendees are encouraged to bring their own snacks and beverages as well.

The 99th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting will be held on Sunday, December 2nd. Festivities starting at 5:20pm, and tree lighting at 6pm! Caroling will be provided by the local Girl Scouts, performances from both Abby Lynch and the Northern Burlington High School Band, and see Santa as he is escorted by the Union Fire Company to visit the children! Enjoy hot chocolate, cider cookies, and other baked goods inside the Crosswicks Community House after the tree lighting. Be a part of this treasured tradition that has charmed the community annually since 1919.

On December 8th, the Chesterfield Twp Historical Society invites you to hear Chesterfield Township Author Matthew Litt, present a reading from his non-fiction bestseller “Christmas 1945 – The Story of the Greatest Celebration in American History.” This event will be held at the Chesterfield Township Historical Society Museum on Ward Avenue from 4 to 6pm.

The Chesterfield Township Historical Society will also be hosting two Holiday Centerpiece Events on December 9th from 1 to 2:30pm and from 2:30 to 4pm.

The Chesterfield Township Historical Society will be hosting a Holiday Party at their headquarters on 2 Front Street on Saturday, December 15th from 7 to 9pm. This event is free and open to the public.

The Quaker Friends Meeting House is holding their annual Quaker Candlelit Service on Sunday, December 23rd from 7 to 9pm. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided after the service.
