“September 11 Commemoration: Students in the middle school marked the anniversary of the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and Flight 93. It has been 17 years since those attacks, well before our students were born. With that in mind, it is important that this new generation will “Never Forget” the events of that day and the impact it had on our nation and the world. Today, the commemoration included a brief announcement about the significance of the day, a moment of silence, and a performance of “America the Beautiful” by members of our chorus. Thank you to the members of our chorus and the choral director, Ms. Martin, for being ready to perform on only the fourth day of school.”
