COLUMBUS, NJ – At around 6am Tuesday, the Juliustown Volunteer Fire Company posted compelling photos that tell the story of a major fire.

According to the fire department, the blaze is between Jacksonville-Jobstown Road and the Columbus Market and is at the Sandy Creek Nursery, a Christmas Tree farm only recently put on the market.

NBC Philly details that a passerby reported the large fire at around 4am. They also write that the fire has not spread to neighboring properties.

“The heat plays a major factor, the humidity. That’s why we called in a third alarm for manpower so we could relieve some guys to get into rehab. Get some water in them, get some fluids in them, cool down a little bit.”
