ALLENTOWN, NJ –
Students are getting on buses following “precautionary” lockdown due to threat against HS.
Local police, State Troopers, and helicopters are at the scene.

At around 12:30pm on Tuesday, Allentown High School and Newell Elementary School were put on lockdown as a “precaution”. Police are present in every building. Assistant Superintendent Mark Guterl is updating the public via Twitter.
Peterson’s Breaking News of Trenton, a local Facebook Page is reporting that the school district, which educates over 1,000 children, received a shooting threat, and was placed in a lockdown.
