CROSSWICKS, NJ –

Preparations are underway for the 98th Annual Crosswicks Christmas Tree Lighting!

For nearly a century, a tree in the center of Crosswicks has been decorated and lit to start the holiday season at the Crosswicks Community House. A few different trees have been used, but the tradition has continued since 1919.

The Crosswicks Men’s Club used to hang the lights on the tree, a task now taken over by members of Crosswicks Fire Company. The Men’s Club Chorus once sang, now the local girl scout troops sing carols before the big event.

Tonight, the Crosswicks Community Association decorated the Community House in advance of this weekend’s holiday kick-off event!

This year’s Crosswicks Christmas Tree Lighting takes places on Sunday, December 3rd at 5:30pm! See you there!
