The following is a Letter to the Editor from Andrea Katz. It has not been edited in any way.

Frustrated by a lack of activity in the New Jersey Assembly when it comes to fixing New Jersey’s school funding crisis, hundreds of parents, teachers and administrators will attend Monday’s Assembly Budget Committee hearing, where New Jersey Acting Education Commissioner Kimberley Harrington is scheduled to testify.

Immediately following her appearance before the committee, the advocates from more than one dozen school districts from across the state, will rally on the steps of the State House Annex in Trenton to call on the members of the Assembly to put politics aside on behalf of the hundreds of thousands of children in New Jersey whose educations are impacted by the current funding crisis facing districts statewide.

The event will take place at the conclusion of Acting Commissioner Harrington’s appearance before the Assembly Budget Committee, Monday, April 24th, on the steps of the State House Annex, 125 West State Street, Trenton.
