WEST WINDSOR, NJ – On February 7th, Adam Woolf, a convicted high-risk tier three registered sex offender in the state of New Jersey was arrested off of the Mercer County Community College’s West Windsor Campus after luring children, all under the age of 13, into the locker rooms to shower in the nude.

Woolf posed as a custodian in the Physical Education building and told the kids that the chlorine levels in the pool would damage their suits, then taking them to the showers where he proceeded to undress in front of the boys and urged to undress too. Two other underage girls, on a separate occasion, were also targeted, as Woolf also followed them into the women’s locker room and proceeded to undress again.

WBNC News obtained an email from President Jianping Wang to the faculty and students, quoting, “…items have appeared in the news media about a recent incident in a MCCC facility involving a Mercer student and underage youth… The incident is now under active investigation by the West Windsor Police and by Mercer County officials.  The college cannot comment on matters related to this active investigation, but please know we are cooperating fully with authorities.”

Woolf’s attorney, Jack Furlong, said Woolf denies any of these allegations, quoting, “Adam denies categorically doing anything that, in his view, was wrong. And given his intellectual limitations I’m inclined to believe him. He is not Jerry Sandusky. He is not a manipulator. He’s just not that sharp.”

Woolf has been charged with 5 counts of second-degree luring, three counts of fourth-degree lewdness, and five counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He is expected to have another court appearance in March.

The Trentonian reported that in February of 2015, a female student said Woolf made her “feel uncomfortable” and followed her around campus. MORE
