BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ  – The start time for single-stream recycling, when residents can put all recyclable materials in the one big blue bucket, has been pushed back.

Originally starting in early 2014, single-stream recycling will now start in the Fall of 2014.  Residents can then put all recyclable materials (paper, plastic, glass) in their big blue bins, which are now only used for paper.

For some homes, one bin will not be enough.  If you haven’t already ordered an extra container and need one, call (609) 499-1001 or email at recycle@co.burlington.nj.us.  Please be advised that extra containers must be ordered by June 30, 2014.

More information on single-stream recycling can be found here: Recycling website
